# Course: Bookmarks

## Overview

Bookmarks collects the units you have bookmarked in a course, so you can come back to them quickly. Bookmark a unit with the bookmark button inside the unit on the [Course tab](course.md).

Bookmarks has no tab of its own in the course player. Open it from the course's address by adding `/bookmarks`, for example `/course-content/<course id>/bookmarks`.

#### Bookmark list
Each bookmark shows the unit's name, where it sits in the course, and when you bookmarked it. Click one to open the unit.

## How to Use

#### Step 1: Bookmark a unit
On the Course tab, click the bookmark button in the unit.

#### Step 2: Return to it
Open the Bookmarks page and click the unit.
