mentorAI Powers MedStar Health-Georgetown AI CoLab and DAIMLAS Universal “AI for Health” Summit
Announcement of ibl.ai’s sponsorship and delivery of the Universal “AI for Health” Summit AI Assistant—an event-specific, conversational guide that helps MedStar Health–Georgetown attendees navigate agenda, locations, logistics, and session content before, during, and after the conference.
We’re excited to sponsor MedStar Health-Georgetown University and DAIMLAS conference, Universal “AI for Health” Summit (Oct. 28-29th) and to introduce the Universal “AI for Health” Summit AI Assistant—a purpose-built, AI concierge that keeps the entire event experience at attendees’ fingertips. The AI CoLab is a joint collaborative center between MedStar Health and Georgetown University Medical Center focused on artificial intelligence healthcare research and education with a robust educational portfolio including this year’s program which spans sessions, mixers, and virtual workshops. The AI Assistant makes all of that easy to navigate the event logistics and engage with the material with straightforward, timely answers.
Our Partnership With MedStar Health-Georgetown University’s AI Colab and DAIMLAS
For this event, we partnered with the Universal “AI for Health” Summit organizers led by event chairs Dr. Nawar Shara and Joseph Wehbe to deliver a conference-specific AI assistant tuned for real attendee needs. The goal was simple: reduce friction for participants and lighten the load on organizers by providing instant, authoritative answers about the agenda, logistics, and session content—whenever or wherever questions come up.What We Built
Rather than another static FAQ page, the Universal “AI for Health” Summit AI Assistant acts like a live, conversational guide. It’s designed for answering questions at any level of understanding and connecting the audience to the information they need quickly. Here’s how it helps:- Agenda clarity without the scavenger hunt: Ask about a session by name, number, or time (“When does Panel 2 start?”), and the AI Assistant responds with the essentials—start/end time, day/date, and where to go on campus.
- Location help that’s specific: When a session is at the AI CoLab at Georgetown University Medical Center, the AI Assistant says so—right down to the building and program context—so you can get moving with confidence.
- Session content at your fingertips: Once attendees are on the platform, the mentor helps them connect with the substance of each session—surfacing the official title, speakers, themes, and timing, and offering smart follow-ups to dive deeper (e.g., “What will this panel cover?” or “Who’s speaking on AI education?”). It’s a faster way to align interests with the right experts and conversations.
- Virtual attendance, step by step: For remote participants, the AI Assistant clarifies that the Zoom link is emailed to registered attendees after they complete Eventbrite registration—so people know exactly how to join online.
- Clear answers about special activities: Want to attend the Pre-event Mixer? The AI Assistant shares the time window (6:30–8:30 PM ET on Tuesday, October 28, 2025) and notes that it’s in-person and included with the summit ticket—no separate sign-up required.
- Post-conference continuity: The AI Assistant keeps momentum going by highlighting the post-event virtual workshops (Nov 3–7, 2025) and reminding attendees that these require separate registration.
How The AI Assistant Will Be Used During The Conference
Before the event:
Attendees can get oriented quickly: preview the full agenda lineup, identify high-priority sessions, confirm where sessions are held on the Georgetown University Medical Center Wisconsin Avenue campus, and check practical details like parking availability and venue logistics—so arrival is smooth and day-of is easy.During the event:
The AI Assistant works like a digital concierge—fielding rapid-fire questions about where, when, and who so people spend more time learning and connecting, and less time searching. After the event:
Participants get clear guidance on the Nov 3–7 virtual workshops, including the separate Eventbrite registration—keeping learning going beyond the main summit days. Why This Matters (For Attendees And Organizers)
- Attendees get certainty. Accurate times, locations, and inclusions (e.g., mixer vs. workshops) remove anxiety and last-minute confusion.
- Organizers save time. With routine questions answered instantly, staff can focus on execution and high-touch needs instead of inbox triage.
- Information stays consistent. Everyone receives the same, up-to-date details—no conflicting answers across channels.
