Memory
Description
Memory lets the agent remember what you share about yourselfâthen use it to personalize future answers. By default, Memory is on. When Reference Saved Memories is enabled by your school, the agent can actively draw on your saved memories (e.g., personal info, knowledge gaps, help requests, lessons learned) to tailor replies and progress checks.

Target Audience
User
Features
On by Default
Your agent remembers details you tell it during chat
(e.g., âIâm new to Linux,â âI want help with citationsâ).
Reference Saved Memories (Institution Toggle)
When enabled, the agent uses your saved memories to customize answers and study plans.
Memory Categories
- Personal Information â major, interests, preferences
- Knowledge Gaps â topics you find difficult
- Help Requests â areas you asked support for
- Lessons Learned â what youâve mastered recently
Administrator Insight (Read-Only for Users)
Administrators and admins can search for a user, review high-level memory,
and (on their side) add or edit entries to better support you.
How to Use (step by step)
Chat Normally
Share goals, strengths, and struggles as you work. Memory captures helpful details automatically.
Ask Memory-Aware Questions
Try asking:
- âSummarize my progress and knowledge gaps.â
- âBased on my history, what should I study next?â
- âRemind me what I asked about Linux and why it matters.â
Get Tailored Guidance
The agent pulls from your previous chats (and, when enabled, your saved memories) to provide targeted suggestions, quizzes, and resources.
Keep It Up-to-Date
If something changesânew major, goal, or challengeâ tell the agent so Memory stays current.
See the Benefit Over Time
As your history grows, replies become more specific to you
(e.g., deeper Linux practice if youâve asked âWhat is Linux?â and âWhat is its purpose?â).
Pedagogical Use Cases
Personalized Study Plans
Generate next-step study plans that reflect your knowledge gaps and lessons learned.
Targeted Remediation
Ask for drills or practice on weak topics the agent already knows you struggle with.
Progress Reviews
Request periodic summaries of what youâve asked, learned, and what to focus on next.
Preference-Aware Support
Small facts (even favorites) can be savedâuseful for examples, motivation, and tone.
Notes for Users
- Memory helps Agentic OS personalize your experience; you wonât see admin tools.
- If your school enables Reference Saved Memories, the agentâs responses will more explicitly reflect your saved profile.
